Nicklaus Kneewalker

Who needs Luke Skywalker when you have Nicklaus Kneewalker?? Nicklaus is completely capable of walking on his feet, but he prefers to walk on his knees. If you put a ball in front of him and tell him to kick the ball, he will walk on his feet all around the room kicking the ball. If you take the ball away and tell him to walk across the room, he will drop down to his knees and walk across the room on his knees. I guess he thinks he will get around faster that way. Nicklaus is such a character. He just has a little mind of his own.

First Day of Pre-School

Yesterday was JJ's first day of school. He was so excited. When we pulled up he was out of the car before I even had a chance to turn it off. He ran all the way up to the door, straight past his teacher and down the stairs to his classroom. He was extra excited because Maya was in his class. I asked him what he did at school and he said played on the slides and played trains. He had so much fun!!

Happy 4th of July

So on the fourth of July my boys woke me up at about 7 o'clock. I decided since we were up, I would take them to see what a real parade is all about. I took them to my parent's house to watch the neighborhood parade :) It only lasted five or ten minutes, but it was so much fun for my kids. They came away with a sack full of candy. It was fun for me to sit back and reminisce about all the years I was in that parade. I decided next year I am going to do a float and put my kids in the parade. Here are some pics for all to enjoy!

Summer Concerts Part 2

Okay I officially have the best brother EVER!! To add to my summer concert series, Jamie got me tickets to Poison. First I have to admit that I have always had a huge crush on Bret Micheals!! Big hair eighties rock band, what is there not to like?? I also have to admit I was a viewer of Bret Michaels Rock of Love I & II. The concert was awsome!! The best part was Jamie snuk me onto the floor. I went from top row lower bowl seats to seventh row on the floor. I have never been this close at a concert before. It was so much fun. I felt like I was eighteen again singing and dancing along with Poison. I am sure I looked just like I was eighteen with my awsome dance skills :) Here are some pics of the concert. They are not the greatest, but what do you expect they were taken from my cell phone.

Summer Concerts Part 1

First I have to start out by saying I have the best brother EVER!!!! Jamie called me Wednesday night and asked me what I was doing on Friday night. I said, "just the usual, nothing." He then replied by asking "I have two Tim McGraw tickets do you want them?" OF COURSE I DID. Who in their right mind would not want to go and see Tim McGraw?? (Heidi) :) So Friday night we dropped our kids off with Heidi (thanks for saving me last minute) and went to meet up for dinner at Tepanyaki before the concert with my brother and some of his friends. After dinner we headed over to Usana Amphitheatre for the concert. It was so much fun. I have to say that Tim is pretty easy on the eyes!! I could have watched him sing all night long!! This Thursday I am going to the Poison concert. I will have to fill everyone in on that concert next week with my summer concerts part 2. Here are some pictures of Tim for everyone to enjoy. They are not quite the same as seeing him in person though.
